Ranking order of poker hands

1. Royal Flush – top poker hand, featuring an ace down to ten with all cards coming from the same suit.
2. Straight Flush – five cards of the same suit in continuous numerical sequence.
3. Four of a Kind - 4 cards of the same number.
4. Full House - 3 cards with the same number, and another pair with a different value. When Wild Cards are used in poker, ties are ranked first by the
   3-of-a-kind ranking, then the matching pair.
5. Flush - any 5 cards of same suit in any order.
6. Straight – 5 cards in a order of any suit. Aces are counted as high or low.
7. Three of a Kind - 3 cards of the same value.
8. Two Pair - any 2 pairs of two cards, and within each pair, the cards are of the same number value. For example, a two of clubs plus a two of Spades (one pair) and the second pair is 7 of Clubs and a 7 of Hearts.
9. Pair - any hand holding 2 cards with the same value.
10. High Card –the player with the highest number card wins only when there are no better poker hands.

Basic Rules

1. Online poker players look at their cards, select a playing strategy and place bets.
2. Online poker players can either 'Call', 'Raise' or 'Fold'.
3. Online poker players can Fold, or drop out of the round of poker.
4. Online poker players can Call. This matches the bet by placing the same cash bet in the poker pot.
5. The online poker players place their wagers in the poker pot.
6. The poker dealer distributes five cards to all poker player.
7. Online poker players can Raise. This firstly matches the existing bet, then adds more into to the online poker pot.
8. A 'Pot' means raising the bet to the maximum.
9. Players can swap up to 3 poker cards. Players holding an Ace in their hand can trade up to four cards.
10. The betting process continues.
11. When there are no more raises, and all the cards have been dealt, the online poker round ends.
12. The online poker players open their closed cards.
13. The highest poker hand wins the poker pot.
